Welcome to Urban North Inns, a cluster of inns in the heart of downtown Toronto. Our diverse inns offer 6 rooms and 3 fully furnished apartments in 3 locations.
If you have just visited our website baldwininn.com, you are in the right place. While we have closed our doors on our Baldwin street location, we offer other premier inns in locations close to Baldwin St.
Our Nest and Burrow Inns, each have 3 private rooms with ensuite washrooms, plus our 3 Major Apartments of two and one bedroom units. Please view our various inns below. While we are still offering the same cozy, comfortable and safe accommodations, we now offer longer term stays that provide substantial rate savings to make your stay more affordable.
The digital advances made work from home possible. Our premises are wired for the new economy, but still offers the comforts of home.
The inns are centrally located, being awarded walk and transportation scores of between 95 and 100. Our urban inns are only steps away from most of Toronto’s vibrant neighbourhoods, surrounded by highly rated restaurants and bars, museums, art galleries, shops, parks and recreational facilities.
We are also proud to be amidst a thriving intellectual community because of our proximity to three major universities and the world class Discovery District that is comprised of 5 major hospitals with renowned scientists working or visiting diverse medical research labs at its doorsteps.
Yet, the inns are uniquely tucked in safe downtown residential areas, with streets lined by mature trees, allowing for a calm and quiet stay.

Check in time 3 pm to 8 pm unless otherwise arranged, check out time 10 am.
Photo identification and registration required at time of check in.
Payment due one month in advance upon check in and monthly in advance thereafter.
We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, Amex, debit, and email transfer.
No smoking premises, no pets allowed.
No unregistered overnight guests.
Strict cancellation policy. No cancellation fee if made within 48 hours of booking if check in date is at least 14 days.
100% of monthly rate for cancellation made within 7 days before check in.
For reservations longer than 2 months, please inquire about our cancellation policy.
Please note, confirmed reservations are cancellable within 48 hours (after confirmation) without penalty, after which cancellation charges equivalent to 50% plus applicable tax will apply. No cancellation is permitted within 7 days of arrival for stays shorter than one month. For stays of one month and over, a cancellation fee of one month applies if confirmed reservation is cancelled within one month of arrival.
Transportation and Parking
Sullivan St.
The main train station in Toronto is Union Station. From Pearson International Airport, there is a Union Pearson Express which stops at Union Station. Sullivan St. is about a 10 minute walk from St. Patrick’s subway station. There is a north-southbound street car line on Spadina St and and east-west street car lines on Dundas and Queen streets. The street cars are about 2 minutes walk from Sullivan street. For parking, you can purchase parking permits from www.toronto.ca/transportation in addition to neighbourhood public and private parking lots and garages.
Major St.
Major St. can be reached by subway from Spadina Station. Walk west on Bloor towards Trinity St. Paul’s United Church, and go south (turn left) on Major St. There is a municipal Green Parking lot 2 streets west on Borden and Lippincott just south of Bloor St.
